Vanderbilt, Helen "Missy" (nee Stuart), 88, of Fort Lee, NJ on Thursday, July 15, 2010. Former wife of the late George. Survived by brother, Douglas Stuart and sister, Mary Stuart. Predeceased by her parents, Frederick G. and Helen Bailey Stuart, brothers, Frederick C. and Donald, and sister, Joan Stuart Vanderbilt. Also survived by 14 nieces and nephews and 24 grand-nieces and nephews. Mrs. Vanderbilt was born August 2, 1921 at home in Staten Island and moved to Teaneck, NJ in 1930. She moved back to Eltingville, Staten Island in 1947 at the time of her marriage. She was a graduate of Teaneck High School, Greenbrier College and Maryland College for Women. She had worked for Bahia Mar Yacht Club in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, a bank in Staten Island and retired from Mobil Oil Company in Staten Island. She was an active member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Richmondtown. Memorial service to be held July 31 at 11 AM at St. Andrew's Church, 40 Old Mill Road, Staten Island NY 10306. Arrangements under the direction of Hunt-Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Andrew's Church.
