Ralph Bonavolonta, 97, of Fairfield, NJ on Sunday, July 25, 2010. Beloved Husband of Mary (nee Conduso) Bonavolonta. Loving father of Jules & his wife Linda Bonavolonta, Maryrose & her husband the late Abel Schall and Adriana & her husband Mark Mazza. Dear brother of Luigi & Mary both residing in Italy. Also survived by the "lights of his life", 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Mr. Bonavolonta came from Marigliano, Italy, near Naples, on October 29, 1929. He met his wife Mary at a Christmas party in 1938 and they married on January 21, 1940, just celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary. He lived in Madison, Newark, Montclair and Fairfield. He was a tailor and furrier extraordinaire. Friends will be received Thursday 10:30-11:30 AM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 12 PM St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
